Aroma for my Home-a

A sweet reader requested a blog on our favorite home scents. So here ya go.

Jeni: This post came at the perfect time for me because I just discovered my favorite “scent”. Its cheap and amazing. But first, a little about my taste in smells.

This may not be a popular opinion but I do not like candles that smell like food. At all. No warm apple pie, no freshly baked sugar cookies, just no. I prefer a light, clean scent. One of the few stores I have been able to stop into lately had these little wax melts and I was intrigued. My oldest is a bit of a pyro so I thought I’d try one of those little warmers that grandmas buy and test it out. I threw the $2 package in my cart and thought what the heck…I’ll give it a try.

Y’all. It’s so good. Like reallllly good. Most people that stop by ask what the scent is. Its not overly vanilla or lavender but a nice combo that makes my house smell clean and fresh and ammmmmazing. I’m hooked.

In second place is eucalyptus & lime. Still fresh and clean and I really like it a lot but just not as good as #1

I went for a simple warmer that blends in with the background. Definitely not as pretty as a lit candle but it seems to fill the room more to me.

If I’m going to buy a candle its this one every time.

I love the scent and this giant one is on my wish list.

They also have a home spray. Has anyone tried this? I’m wondering how it is….

And why shouldn’t I? We are all spending more time at home so stock up and make it smell like Anthropologie.

I don’t have this gadget, but I really want it! You put a candle in it and it burns it evenly, makes the candle last longer and you don’t have to worry about leaving an open flame around your curious kids and pets.

Wax melts are greatness. I have tried so many of the herbal melts and they do not disappoint.
