March Favorites

It’s been a month of fun finds as we are moving on in to spring! Take a look at what we are loving lately.

  1. Gel Wrist Rest: I’ve talked about these before, but they are LIIIIIFE for my poor wrist. My last one got misplaced (ahem children!) and my wrist started hurting within a day. As soon as I got another one, I was back in pain free business!
  2. Makeup Brush Cleaner and Dryer: This thing is bomb and on sale for $29!! It’s so easy to use that my 9 year old cleaned my entire stash of dozens of makeup brushes and actually had fun doing it! When you look at the nasty water after you clean your brush, you will be so glad you have this. It then spins the brush dry in about 10 seconds! I’m amazed by this gadget!
  3. Leopard Calf Hair Slides: True to size, great little spring/summer staple.
  4. Shine Stick Lip Color: I like this a lot. I have the “honey dipped” color, it’s subtle and really pretty. A little bit of shine, feels like a lip balm, looks like a lipstick.
  5. Humidifier: Not just any old cool mist humidifier, this one has LED lights you can change, comes in several colors and diffuses essential oils! We use and really like these oils! My daughter, Kylie, has allergies and loves to pick out an oil each night. It’s really helped her.
  6. CLn Body Wash: The dermatologist recommended this for my 7 year old daughter, Aven. She has such bad eczema! If you have ever heard of bleach baths for eczema, this would be used in place of that. You can use it everyday and leave it on for two minutes and it helps with any irritated skin due to eczema, atopic dermatitis, rosacea or infection. It kills the bacteria that causes skin to be irritated or infected. Aven got better after a few washes and this can be used on babies as young as six months! After a CLn wash, we put on…
  7. CeraVe Moisturizing Cream: Also recommended by our dermatologist and can be used on face and body. This stuff is great for anyone, but really helpful for those with sensitive or dry skin.
  8. Lip Glow: This is also a lot like a balm with a little color. I have the pink one.
  9. Gucci Sandals: The ultimate spring time splurge. I’m in love. True to size (I wear my usual 37.5) and come in 9 colors including neon pink!
  10. Mini Bake Shop: Aven and I have been having a lot of fun making these tiny clay treats together. Great activity!
  11. 101 Quizzes for Couples: This book is so perfect to start fun conversations with your significant other as opposed to laying in bed next to each other scrolling the gram. Zach and I highly recommend!
  12. Purple Denim Jacket: An absolute steal at $18, marked down from $98! It’s the cutest color and a great spring piece. I got a small, but could have easily gotten an XS. If these are already sold out, I’m very sorry. As I am writing this now there are still plenty in stock, except for L and XL. Hurry, hurry!
  13. Wedges: These are this season’s version of the very popular wedges I saw a ton of last spring and summer. Wedges are pretty comfortable in general, at least as far as heels go, and these are really comfy because of the thick strap. True to size and comes in 7 colors!
  14. Prada Belt: I can’t get enough of this designer belt craze. As much as I love the tan Gucci belt, I already have the black. Jeni has the tan and we were already annoyed with ourselves for twinning so often in the black GG belts. I looked at another Louis Vuitton belt, but the ones I liked the most were not available to purchase online. I stumbled across this light pink Prada one and thought it was the perfect color and I haven’t seen it all over the place yet so hopefully I can be a smidge authentic. Also comes in black, white, tan, brown and red.
  15. Half Zip Sweatshirt: I’m actually wearing this shirt at this very moment. I have it on with denim shorts and it’s such a good shirt to throw on. I have a small, it’s on sale for $40 and comes in 3 other super cute color combos!
  16. Swimsuit for Aven: She looks so cute in this! It’s modest and stylish and I just love it! Comes in sizes 3-6 months up to 12!
  17. Candle: I’m a candle lady! The jars are so pretty and the smell is perfection!
  18. Flower Slides: I also got these for Aven for the spring and summer and she has had them on non stop! Adorable!
  19. Body Shimmer: This saved me when I couldn’t get a spray tan before the school auction. I also put this on my daughter’s winter pale legs before her middle school dance. We both love it! It’s a roll on bronzing shimmer and apparently a celebrity trick for a slimmer looking bod.
  20. Home Chef: Still obsessing over this meal delivery company just as much as I was 9 or so months ago when we started it. The food is insanely good and easy to cook. This saves me time grocery shopping and meal planning and it’s one of the best things we have done for ourselves! Read the blog where we reviewed it here.
  21. Reese’s Eggs: Reese’s Eggs. Need I say more? Get in my belly.
  1. Gold Slides: I’m in love. Once you put these on the squishy, comfortable, amazingness will have you falling as well.
  2. November 9th: I couldn’t put this one down. A little language, a little sex but a quick easy read for the spring.
  3. Denim Jacket: I’ve been searching for a new one and this one won. It soft, not too structured, hits at the right spots and comes in different washes. I bought a small.
  4. Sunscreen: I wear this one everyday. I love the tint and I feel like its really helped my melasma.
  5. Lip balm: I throw this in my purse and its the perfect tint for when I need some chapstick but don’t want a gloss or lipstick.
  6. Bikini: I ordered a bunch from this store and was super surprised by their prices and quality. Most suits are around $25. I bought smalls. I was worried the bottoms wouldn’t have enough coverage but they worked well. I’ll definitely be purchasing more before our Bahamas trip.
  7. Self Tanning Oil: When I can’t get into my sis in law at Bronzed By Erin, for a spray tan, I make do with this stuff. The smell is minimum and the tan is a little more believable than others I’ve tried.
  8. Embellished Slides: Easy to dress up or down I know I’ll be wearing these a lot this spring & summer.
  9. Cut offs: Perfect amount of high waist and long enough for us moms. I like the lighter color too.
  10. T-shirt Dress: $18 and comes in many colors. I wore this on our flight to Cali with the denim jacket and it was the best travel outfit. I’ll be buying this one in multiple colors for sure.
  11. Gucci Belt: My splurge for spring and summer. I loved the tan color and have already worn it with so many things. Price per wear girls, price per wear. 🙂
  12. Sunnies: Under $50 and come in many colors but I’m always pretty partial to pink.
  13. Valentino Cross-body: My husband surprised me with this baby and I love it so much. The color goes with so many things and its the perfect size for an everyday bag.
