Paige:

Hi. I get my hair colored about every six weeks. I also have sew in extensions which make for a little extra work. One of my favorite things about my hair is that I only have to wash it once a week. I think this is due to my not over washing and the oils have evened out.

When it’s that weekly hair washing event, because it sure does feel like an event, this is how I roll…

This great product is for all hair types and helps damaged and weak hair. Put this on towel dried hair and leave on for 10 minutes. I just squeeze the water out of my hair in the shower, apply a lot of this stuff and shave, exfoliate, etc while it works it’s magic.

After the olaplaex is rinsed out, it’s time to shampoo and condition as usual. I love this brand! It smells really fresh, with a little citrus vibe. I usually shampoo twice. I didn’t think it would make much of a difference, but after I rinse my hair from the first shampoo and shampoo again, the suds go crazy and I can really get a good scrubby dubby. When I put on the conditioner, I apply it from my ears down so that my scalp stays less oily. I think this helps me be able to go longer between washes.

I use these towels to let my hair get dryer before I start blow drying. I love how they have a little button to fit securely on your head and my daughters love using these too! Much easier on your hair and less damaging than a regular towel.

Next step is to spray it generously with some detangler or leave in conditioner. These are both great and helps me to be able to brush through easily. I also avoid the scalp area and concentrate more on the bottom half of my hair with these sprays.

I love the detangling brushes!

Time to dry this beast! I section my hair off with these clips, dry it with my all time favorite hair dryer that my stylist recommended and use a styling brush to keep it smooth.

When it’s all dry, I like to apply this salt spray to give my hair some gritty texture. It holds curl so much better and gets that beachy vibe that I love. You can use this on your hair when it’s wet too, but when it’s dry it makes for a more intense situation. Again, concentrating more on the ends and parts that will be curled.

I section off the hair again to curl it with the 1.25 inch T3 iron. Check instagram stories today to see how I curl my hair.

Finish up with some hairspray and I’m good for a while! When I wake up in the morning, I will hit it again with the curling iron on any pieces that look sad and use some dry shampoo to give it some szjooozj. Try to pronounce that and hopefully you get what I’m trying to say here haha.

Jeni:

On days that I actually wash my hair I have been LOVING this….

Olaplex Shampoo

I use a lot of dry shampoo ( don’t we all) and other shampoos seemed to just be sitting on the surface of my hair. I would need to wash multiple times for my hair to feel clean. Not with Olaplex. A little goes a long way. It feels moisturizing but not heavy and I like that it really suds up. My hair actually feels healthier after washing unlike shampoos I’ve used in the past.

I follow with Olaplex Conditioner. Again not too heavy and has a light, clean scent.

Every other week or when I think about it I use the deep conditioner. I’ve even slept in it before and used these hair ties to pull my hair into a high bun. You need to try this stuff. Your dry, damaged hair will thank you!

I use this oil before styling to protect my hair from heat.

Dyson has been my hairdryer of choice for going on 3+ years now. I have fine hair but a lot of it. This definitely cuts down my drying time and for that I will be a loyal forever. I hate drying my hair. Hate it.

Which is why Dry Shampoo is my best friend.

Dybar products smell the best and make me feel like I just got a professional blowout.

I quickly section my hair with clips and use the T3 to add some body and waves.

And ta-da I’m out the door.

Thanks Nordstrom for sponsoring this post & keeping our locks looking good!
