So you’re thinking about a new puppy, maybe you are on the list for one, maybe you have told your kids heck to the naw to the paw and then saw Waffles and Cavi and had a change of heart. If a puppy is in your future check out this new puppy shopping list of items we are really howling about! WOOF!
- Bed for crate: Perfect size to keep them cozy while you’re crate training.
- Pink Crate. Jeni chose this one with a divider panel. When YouTubing potty training techniques many said to keep the area in their crate just a little bigger than them. We put the divider in to make it smaller and she hasn’t had an accident in her crate so it seems to be working. Bonus, I was able to buy a bigger crate that she can grow into.
- Grey Dot Bed: Cute & fluffy, can be personalized and on sale!
- Deodorizing Wipes: Pretty much feeling like I have a newborn all over again. Since Waffles is white, her muddy feet show really easily and we are also trying to wipe her eye crusties as soon as we see them and these work great.
- Airtight Food Storage: Comes in many colors, scoop included. We have been keeping Waffles’ food in the bottom section and her treats, bones and a few other accessories that I would otherwise lose on the top section.
- Spike Collar: Classic, edgy and stylish. Waffles’ walks with a little extra swag when she has this on.
- Training Treats: Waffles’ is working on bell potty training (get potty bells here) and at 1.5 calories per treat, these are the perfect motivator.
- Auto Water Dispenser Double Feeder Bowl: This is a must have! Fill up the water bottle and pop it in, the water refills as needed and keeps you from having to take a bowl to the sink over and over. I also love that the stainless steel portion pops out so you can remove the bowl when feedings are over.
- Chew Toy with Rope: Waffles’ & Cavi’s go to toy. They love to play tug of war with the rope part.
- Puppy Chew Bones: Can’t go wrong with anything Nylabone. Cavi is definitely a chewer so I am trying to reinforce with these when I see her gnawing on toys, shoes or anything else she can get her teeth into.
- Kong: Teething genius, fill with peanut butter or treats to keep them busy for a long time!
- Water Bottle for Walks: Portable water you can give them right out of the bottle!
- Shampoo: Smells good, tearless and is combined with conditioner.
- Self Cleaning Brush: We have started getting Waffles used to being brushed. This one is so good because you push a button on the back and the bristles disappear into the brush making hair removal and clean up so easy.
- Tags: Some of the cutest designs I have seen! Pet tags have come a long way since we last had puppies!
- Gate: We can’t be having puppies running upstairs and wreaking havoc, this gate is the best because you can still walk through it and not have to climb over.
- Teethe ‘n Tug: Another favorite.
- Wall Nanny: You will want to grab these so the gate doesn’t tear up your wall.
- White Marble Ceramic Bowl: Stay classy San Diego with marble!
- Puppy Uppers: I had to buy this treat jar the moment I saw it. I have been wanting these canisters forever but didn’t really know which words I wanted on the front. BINGO! Not cheap, but will be on display in my kitchen for the entirety of Waffles’ life so well worth it.
- ID Tag: A simply adorable way to introduce your doggy dog self, this is the one I ordered for Cavi.
- Heart Dog Bed: Also comes in black and white stripes and on sale!
- Faceted Dog Bowl: Modern, cute, comes in a few different colors.
- Collapsable Bowls: Good to have on hand for travel, walks or anytime you will need food or water and are not at home. Great product!
- Customizable Beds: So many fun options at price points we love! Leopard is just one of the cute prints!
- Gentle Leader: Make walks a breeze! The Gentle Leader helps even the wildest of walkers chill and walk on a leash like a pro. This was the only way we could get our Old English Sheepdog and Lab to not embarrass us. ha!
- Hedgehogs: Why Waffles has taken such a liking to these, I do not know. But she loves running around squeaking and chewing on these guys more than her other plush toys.
- Placemat: I have one of these for my cat and dog, it keeps their eating space so much tidier!
- Bitter Apple: Old faithful puppy training hack. Spray this on anything you want them to stop chewing on. A fabulous training tool!
Bow wow wow, yippy yo yippy yay.
Cuteness overload. Cant stand it. Are they siblings?
Thanks! No, Cavi is a Cavapoo and Waffles is a Cavachon and was born in North Carolina! Sweetest puppies!
