Homecoming Dresses

This needed to be an entire blog post because ain’t no way I can link this many items over on LTK.

Kylie is a freshman and is going to homecoming this year for the first time. I’ve been hunting around for homecoming dresses, seeing the trends and trying to catch the hoco vibes.

We did not have a homecoming dance when I was in high school. We did the mums, the football game and then probably went and drank zima at someone’s house. The 90s were a time.

I was on the homecoming court and since you are dying to know, this is what I wore.

A few thoughts: This was the hair era where I wanted to get rid of my blonde highlights and have a solid, flat, brown, one tone color. But that’s not the worst part. I had bangs blindness. These stupid bangs looked like strips of construction paper. I grew them out soon after and never looked back.

I chose a simple black halter dress with some strappy platform shoes to go with my enormous mum. My Justin Bieber style date had the classic 90s look, frosted tips and all.

The mum had a teddy bear on it, it went all the way down the back of me and played music. We aren’t messing around in Texas.

Let’s hurry out of the 1900s and into current times and take a look at what the girlies are wearing.

The majority of the dresses when you start looking around are tiny and bodycon. I tried to find a good variety for schools that don’t allow body con or girls that just aren’t loving that style.

I Roy G Biv-ed so hard with this.

These are all under $100!!!!
