Colorful Christmas Decor

I was so honored when my neighborhood magazine, Stroll Ridglea, asked if they could feature my house!

All of the pictures that were in the magazine are posted here as well as some others that didn’t make it in.

The January issue will have photos of the newly added 1200 square foot expansion.

So you don’t have to zoom in and squint to read what it says, I will type it out for you…

After my divorce, I was so excited to move to Ridglea Hills and have the ultimate bachelorette pad. For me, this meant I could let my colorful design-loving self run wild and let the Barbie Dreamhouse go from inside my mind to reality. When I purchased this home it was a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom. I shared a room with my son, two of my daughters shared a room and I let my oldest daughter have her own space. We had outgrown the house from day one and I started planning an addition. A couple of years later, all while living in a dusty construction zone, the project was done. The house has a whole new wing and went from a 3/2 to a 5/3! No more laundry room in the kitchen and no more shared tiny closed with my son. The inspiration for this house was always been Palm Springs and is a representation of my style and personality. This is my happy place.

These 5 foot glittery nutcrackers are so much fun to bring out every year!

Y’all know how much I love my Frame TV! Changing the art frequently is so fun for me, and holiday themed art is even more fun because I wouldn’t normally have a huge Christmas tree painting on my fireplace. The Frame TV is the best option for someone who likes function but make it pretty.

I added these three barstools this summer and love them! I also added the cutest Dolly Parton wall art to that blank space in the breakfast nook thing.

I got a blank space baby and I’ll write Dolly Parton on it if I dang well please.
