Whaaaatttt?!! Where did this month go? May is right around the corner and I am not ready. May is always a crazy, busy month. Both of my boys have birthdays, we celebrate our anniversary, there are 2,957 end of year activities that are jam packed into the last two weeks of school. It’ll all be worth it though when we get to that sweet summertime.
My favorites this month include a lot of neon, tie dye and even some scrunchies….the 80s are back my friends.
- Striped High Waisted Swimsuit: Currently on sale for under $30. TTS for me, the small fits great. The high waist makes it feel more appropriate to wear to the pool with the kiddos.
- Tie Dye Cover-Up: Love the colors! I’ll be wearing this all summer long.
- Scrunchies: A thin wire holds the cute shape and the bright pattern sold me. Perfect for our upcoming beach trip.
- Gucci Slides: Paige influenced me on her price per wear Gucci cuteness. I needed the pink. Needed.
- Natori Bliss Bra: The only bra I own other than sports bras. Once you try one on you’ll know why. So comfortable, so soft.
- Bobbi Brown Eyeliner: I love this pencil because it has the smudger on the end. Makes it super simple to do our eyeliner smudge trick without adding in another brush. I use black coffee.
- Headband: Another option for beach hair. Love the colors and the knot on top.
- Smarty Pants Vitamins: I actually WANT to take my vitamins everyday because these taste like candy!
- Yellow Heels: These caught my eye online and they are even more adorable in person. Love the tie detail and the neon color will take your outfit up a notch.
- Tie Dye Backpack: I’ve been wanting a backpack for so long and this one checked all the boxes. Cute. Perfect size. Cute.
- Cut Offs: I am pretty obsessed with these. I usually don’t normally spend this much on shorts but I love that they are shorter in the front and longer in the back. Size down one size. This mom approves.
- Natori Thongs. I never knew a thong could be comfortable until now.
- Romper Cover-Up: Apparently I had a thing for romper cover ups this month. This one is so flattering on and I love the seashell detail on the tie.
- Packing Cubes: There are so many options when it comes to packing cubes. I chose these because they are machine washable & come in a variety of sizes. They also include a shoe bag, toiletry bag & laundry bag. I love being able to keep my dirty clothes separated from the clean while traveling. These really do help me to pack more efficiently and keep everything more organized.
- Yoga Mat: Non slip, water proof (sweat drips don’t soak in), doesn’t stretch, perfect amount of thickness.
- Yoga Blocks: These can modify yoga poses to be easier or deeper. I use these almost every time.
- Peleton Yoga: This Peleton app is not just another mediocre fitness tool. Zach and I have started yoga together and are completely obsessed. You can select length of class, difficulty level, instructor, even music genre and then you feel like you are in a real yoga class with a top instructor. There are 10 types of workouts you can do, not just yoga, everything from bootcamp to stretching. For $20 a month, you can not beat this! Next up, Zach and I trying couple’s yoga poses that require years of training and strength with only a few weeks of experience.
- Pink Bikini: I got the most positive feedback on this swimmy! I got a medium in the top and bottoms, the top has the cutest bow in the back and the bottoms have that little ruched cheeky vibe going on.
- Self Tanner Face Serum: I love this for in between airbrush tans! I do a couple of pumps on my hands and rub it into my face and neck and wash my hands right after. The color is nice and not streaky. It doesn’t make you stinky and moisturizes!
- Ivory Gucci Belt: I worked my tail off doing photo sessions over the past month or so and bought myself this fabulous belt. I love the color and I obviously love this belt since this is my second one to purchase. These are really hard to find in stock, I linked the one that had the most sizes left. I wear an 80, but could easily wear one size smaller. I am a size 2.
- GGDB Midstars: I once thought these were dumb, now I wear them almost daily. So worth it if you are eyeing any. I can say that with full confidence now that I have three pairs! I like to put my money in the things I wear over and over and over and this will definitely not be my last pair. I size down a half size in Golden Goose and get a 37.
- Shark: Grandma shark doo doo doo doo doo gets the job done! I debated between this and the Dyson cordless stick vacuum. I went for this one and it is everything I hoped! If you don’t have something like this, you need it. If you have kids, you need it more than you know. If you have kids and pets, you need it more than you could have ever imagined. If you have kids, pets, and mostly wood floors, ok you get it.
- Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner: Not all eyeliner is created equal. Like not even a little bit. This waterproof liner goes on like buttah, it’s the perfect consistency to do the brush trick with and tight lining with waterproof eye liner is the way to go. There is a reason why it has over 600 almost perfect reviews. I use the color ebene.
- Glide-On Eye Pencil: Talk about great reviews, this one has well over 5,000 almost perfect reviews. I give it a 5 star for sure! For my blue eyed beauties, get the color smog. Tight line with this for a subtle yet insanely gorgeous way to make your eyes pop and sparkle!
- Favorite Cut Offs: I wore the heck out of these last spring and summer and have already worn the heck out them this spring. I wear a size 4 in these and they are the best length for cool moms!
- Flip Flops: Comfortable and stylish and seriously adorable! They have a nice scent and come in 4 colors. I sized up from a 7.5 to an 8.
- Body Shimmer: Another super white girl hack. Creates the illusion that you aren’t the color of lunch meat.
- Framed Tweet: I can’t hold in my excitement about this any longer! These framed tweets are freakin’ hilarious. I had to get one to put in my office, would also make a great gift!! Kanye, your tweets make me smile.
- Lip Cheat: Get this pencil already! The color is pillow talk, you can fake your lips being a little plumper when you slightly over line them and it is undetectable because the color is so lip like.
- Klorane who?: Yeah, I hadn’t heard of it either, but like a true dark horse, it won my dry shampoo battle. It has quite the cult following that I knew nothing of. Thanks for keeping it a secret jerks!
- Hoover: This thing saved my sanity. At the end of the day, say 4:00ish, I start to self destruct. Everything is on my nerves, the messy house causes me to have serious anxiety and get twitchy, the kid’s arguing and whining makes me feel like raging, tying up loose work ends and dealing with their homework/activities/requests makes all of us moms go a little kooky. BUT WHEN YOU ADD IN THE SMELL OF CAT PEE, I straight up lose my shit. For whatever reason, Pierre has claimed the formal living room as his own feline territory and no matter what rug we buy, how we pre treat it or what we do, he pees on every corner and in one spot by the coffee table. Adding a litter box to that room helped tremendously, but as soon as it was time for a new rug the peeing started again. He even peed all over our Christmas tree skirt for crying out loud! I think we may have gotten rid of all of the pee with this wonderful shampooer thing and it works so well! The water at the end of the cleaning was so disgusting that it was highly satisfying. This is around $90 and I suggest you get one!
- Feather Earrings: Birds of a feather look cute together on earrings. These are darling and $29!
- Nail Repair: I freaked out about not having enough time to get all my photo editing done and decided ripping off my dip nails was somehow a better option. This helped my nails tremendously and now they seem pretty normal. A great way to take a break from dip or gel and not feel like your nails are syran wrap.
- Rug: This is my favorite rug for Pierre to pee on. They have other colors and it is the closest dupe to a Caitlin Wilson that I have found.
- Blow Dry Spray: Years ago my hairdresser at the time recommended this to me. I have been hooked ever since. The smell is lovely and it cuts down blow drying time while also protecting from heat.
- Stem Cell Shampoo: I figured this was a gimmicky joke of a product. Then I really thought the joke was on me when I accidentally signed up for a 4 pack of these through the retailer’s site. I linked these to a different site so that should not happen to you. Thank goodness I absolutely love this stuff for me and my kids, because I have a serious stock pile. It makes my hair so soft and people have all these success stories all over the internet. It’s not an MLM so there is no reason people would rave for their own personal gain and pyramid climb. ha!
Sooooo many great finds! And girls….I saw both of you in those swimsuits on stories. You’re both HOT. #butwealreadyknewthat
Just seeing this and DAY MADE!!!! 😉
